MOTORISTS were facing huge tailbacks this morning after police closed a busy section of the M3 near Southampton.
Officers have yet to reveal why both carriageways of the road have been shut at junction 13 saying only that it was for "police operational reasons".
Queues were stretching several miles in both directions following the incident shortly after 6.30am.
A spokesman said the road would be reopened as soon as possible.

Just who are they answerable to. Just more secret squirrel bullshit to alienate themselves to the public, thousands of motorists and their employers.

Why can't you be a little bit patient, get down of your soap box and calm down.
If by tomorrow we still do not have an answer, I'll be happy to lend you my soap box so you can stand taller and shout louder.
